While I question the 'of the people for the people' ethos, I produce plenty of art & I want people to live with it. I'm also looking at this as a social experiment of sorts~ $20 does not mean the same thing to everyone. Each month I will post a different original painting starting at $20. Along with your bid write a different 'product' that you would have spent the equivalent amount of $ on. (Say you bid $35- for me that would be = A bag of dog food or 18 cups of coffee...) You can participate by writing your bid in the comments section along with your email. Also make sure you tic the box that says 'notify me of new comments' (to see if you've been outbid). Shipping address will be managed privately & payment will be made via pay pal. The Monthly winner will be announced at the end of the auction. Check back monthly for new pieces & to wonder at the questions of economy in our society. This months auction piece is.....  'Steady Watch' Oil on found wood 4" x 2.5"
