[The social world we live in may bare vague resemblance to the one our grandparents grew up in. The internet has made the letters 'IRL' have meaning. {IRL is an acronyms for 'In Real Life' just in case.} It's added a strange new layer to experiences we previously took for granted. There is also a strong case to be made for non-digital experience and those of us with fears of that being infringed upon feel a need to make that case. We talk about the 'book smell' you can't experience on a kindle or the little bits or the slight wheeze of laughter so particular of someone you really connect with that doesn't come through a skype chat.]
