While I question the 'of the people for the people' ethos, I produce plenty of art & I want people to live with it. I'm also looking at this as a social experiment of sorts~ $20 does not mean the same thing to everyone.
 Each month I will post a different original painting starting at $20. Along with your bid write a different 'product' that you would have spent the equivalent amount of $ on. (Say you bid $35- for me that would be = 10 packs of cigarettes, 18 cups of coffee, or 6 big bottles of shampoo.)

You can participate by writing your bid in the comments section along with your email. Shipping address will be managed privately & payment will be made via pay pal. The Monthly winner will be announced at the end of the auction. Check back monthly for new pieces & to wonder at the questions of economy in our society.
